The search text is not supposed to display. I'll fix that. Bloody idiot browsers that can't read basic css. ::)

ETA: Fel, the fix is to edit the value for the submit in index.template.php. Change ',$txt['search'],' to   and change the css to this:

Code Select
#upper_section div.news form#search_form input.button_submit
{
padding: 0 10px;
}

The same fix should sort any other variants.

Tormod: that's an RC2 bug, not a PortaMx bug. :)
Using Internet Explorer 6 on the internet is like urinating in a public swimming pool.
It's rude, there's no excuse for it, and anyone who does it should be ashamed of themselves.

Installed portamx 9.70 on a brand new smf2 rc2 and came out with a 500 error after completion of install

any suggestions?

I tend to think it is an addressing problem.

Forum URL = http://tvgrapevine.com/smf

SMF Directory = /home/tvgrapev/public_html/smf

Sources Directory = /home/tvgrapev/public_html/smf/Sources

Cache Directory = /home/tvgrapev/public_html/smf/cache

as I recall, didn't we have to alias the tvgrapev part some time in the past?  I know Fel did something just can't recall what she did to reslove it.

It might help if you could find and post the webserver error log, to see what triggered that 500 error.

I am pretty sure Fel will remember it.  It has to do with the tvgrapev part of addressing not getting properly recognized resulting in programming errors when trying to make calls.

Thanks for the concern.  :)

Check if all files exist (/Sources/PortaMx, /Themes/default/PortaMx, /Themes/default/languages/PortaMx)

Fel
Many are stubborn in relation to the way, but less in relation to the target.

I think it is this problem.  See link below.
