I have installed a new theme. It's the Adagio theme by Bloc, that I have modify for SMF 2.0 beta 4.

Test it ..  ;)

It looks good to me, unfortunately the file from "bloc is only for smf 2.0 beta3.1p" so sounds like a few of us would like to have a copy :)

Found minor display problems while reading posts in the forum, see attached:
1. some missing icons(I thought this theme does not use icons?)
2. slight vertical offset of text

It's a icon exist ..
found in /images/buttons/split.gif

For the thank-o-matic, you have to copy a icon in the same path ..

A small question.
Feline, do you have Blocs permission to

1. Convert his creation for your portal ?
2. Have it for download from your forum ?

I am not sure why Feline felt the need to do this without my knowledge, but in any case: this is a un-official version of the theme, it lacks features present in beta3 version and it also lacks support for dropdown menus in template_menu() - something I am currently adding to the theme. From my quick look it doesn't seem to be any required code from PortaMX? - other than the logo itself(which quite easily could be added with an extra theme layer from within PortaMx). Therefore it seems its just the need to have a beta4 version that is the key here.

I can certainly see the need for PortaMx-enabled themes (like I did with TP 0.9 and SMF themes) but as a courtesy its always polite to ask first. ;) I will save you the trouble though, and say its ok to do that, though preferably keeping the theme as it is otherwise.

It's not a conversion, just updated to work with beta4.
PortaMx is running great with 'normal' smf-themes, no changes required ;)

If i got that wrong, plz correct me fel

Ah .. Hello Mr. Bloc .. at first my Statement;
I email you one or two weeks ago, if you willing to convert Themes for Paying.
No answer up to today ..

The Adagio Theme I have legal download from you site, I have look around and see that's not work with Beta4. So i have modified the Theme a little bit (most the css files) to run as you see here. I have not removed your copyright or somthing else, but I have fixed other things.

Inside the Theme is NO Code for PortaMx .. My Portal need no changes on Themes wich are ready for Beta4 (two layer Theme .. html, body). The logo is also NOT fixed in the Template .. it's insert by the Themesettings (logo at top).

If you have any Problem with me, then tell me that ..

That is correct .. PortaMx need only normal smf Themes with two layers (html, body) as the default template.

I can't remember getting any email/PM from you about commissioned themes.

Anyways, that has nothing to do with the fact that you still took a theme and thought it ok to "update" it, without asking. I KNOW the theme doesn't require any changes to work in PortaMX, I would be surprised if it did..but you show a real lack of respect for other peoples work, by simply deciding for yourself that it needs improvement, that you can just offer it for download here.

Maybe I should simply take your FelBlog mod and update + "improve" it, then put it up for download - with my logo in it as well - on tp.net? Would you think thats ok then...?

Sadly, if this is the way the PortaMX community operates, then I feel genuinely sorry for the members here.

Bloc, you know better than me, that Themes for the beta 3 are not compatible with the beta 4, so I have adapted the Theme.
I have not taken out the copyright and also have used no PortaMx logo inside the Theme.
The logo is given about the Settings, how with all Theme settings.
Unfortunately, do I see in your Theme no License. It's GPL or what?

To Felblog ..
If you do not remove my copyright, you can change everything and distribute the program, if you also take over the Support for that modified product.

To yours last words I say only that YOU have removed all my extra rights from the TinyPortal community as I say I start a new Portal.
Long time I have help you as I can on TinyPortal code, have you forgotten that now? Is this the kind, how you reacted?

I haven't forgotten..but you twist the truth to your own. The rights were removed because you got angry when I stated my wishes for a SMF2 modified TP0.9 and you asked to be relieved of the team badge in that heated debate.

Of all the team members on tp.net, of all team members on SMF even, not one has done things like you do. I trust them with just about everything, help in any way I can for both them and every member and do not require much in return. All I ask is that the respect for my work is upheld, I truly believe in people not having to be told about these things.

I do not wish to take over Felblog lol, it was merely an example and I also do not wish keep asking you to not do these things without asking first..but I guess its in vain.

Ok .. I have removed the Adagio Theme from Download.
I think it's ok, if I use the modified theme for me on my site ...

I do not have to pinch it urgently to somebody code .. I can write my own  :)

Hi feline, I think it's the fact that your portal is out before TP that's the problem and also you don't need special themes! TP does. Dass ist echte concurence :) und das macht Die alle nervoes da drueben :)

PowerBob, if I wanted help i would ask for it. Surely you can understand ones need to be in control of your own creations?

Feline, thank you. :)
I had hoped it wouldn't come to this, as I said in my reply I said it was ok to convert themes to PortaMX for downlaod here, if thats was a criteria. As it turns out the main reason was a beta4 version was desired and for that I like to do it myself, I have also created much of the new template code in beta4 so its not the ability that stops me from that lol.

I have no doubt in your talent and look forward to see new original themes from you.
