So here's the thing guys. Today I just installed PortaMx on my test forum and boy! I just fell in love with it the moment I got a glimpse of how much you can customize your blocks. TRULY AMAZING!
So now as I plan to migrate from SimplePortal to PortaMx the only thing I need to think about is getting some of the stuff I have installed on my SP running site to my soon to-be PortaMx running site. So I tried running HTML code with the use of the html code which works perfectly on SP but doesn't seem to be working okay on PortaMx. If I can get that to work then I'm definitely moving over in the next instance.
Like for an example simple Google Adsense code doesn't work. The block simply displays the code I pasted in the Portal.

What's funny is now I already consider PortaMx to be the best SMF portal out there and yet everyone else never mentions about this and thus no one bothers to try this tool. My tip to you guys is to promote your portal more because it's truly remarkable..

EDiT: Oh my bad. I hadn't clicked on the source button before the code. LOL. So I guess I have decided to move now. WOOOOHOOOO! I just have to work on a sexy new homepage layout before I proceed.

You might want to use a script block for the Google Adsense code instead of the HTML block. It seems to use fewer resources than an HTML block.
