Cool. You have some validation errors though and they're messing the site up slightly in IE. They're missing closing tags and missing alt attributes for images. Both are easy to fix so you might as well do them.

Alt for images can be as simple as alt=""/>

The missing closing tags are most likely caused by some of them not being echoed because they are contained under an if. Seperate them out and echo them independently and you should get rid of a whole cascade of errors.   O0

ETA: Use this thing if you don't already have it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/249
Using Internet Explorer 6 on the internet is like urinating in a public swimming pool.
It's rude, there's no excuse for it, and anyone who does it should be ashamed of themselves.

One of the errors is from a block pulling from a forum. So I post in that forum and it is put on the main page. This one is the image. It is a forum post and I looked at the post and it has only one in there. It is defined right in the post. So the question is, why is it showing a error? To get rid of the error, I had to move the image down in the post so it doesn't show on the front page.

Two errors are from this line:
Code Select
hs.captionText = "<a href='http://highslide.com/'>Powered by <i>Highslide JS</i></a>, implemented by PortaMx corp.";
To fix these, the line should look like this:
Code Select
hs.captionText = "<a href='http://highslide.com/'>Powered by <i>Highslide JS<\/i><\/a>, implemented by PortaMx corp.";
I disabled the HighSlide viewer and it is fixed.

The nav menu was showing to many <br> in it. So it was tossing out alot of things. I thought I cleaned all those up already. Must of closed the window before I saved it. I will fix those later. Need to go to bed now!

BTW, in IE8 and IE7, the site looked perfect. Not sure what you were seeing. No one has said anything about things being off on the site either. Which I know they would since I have 2 people that are picky as hell. They even correct my spelling on the forums.

Fel, the errors are gone on the main page except for my Nav Menu block. Which I will take care of later.

With the HighSlide viewer enabled it gets errors. Look at the lines of code I posted above. Those two lines of code are different. The bottow one is the correct code. While the 1st line is incorrect.

Incorrect code:
Code Select
</i></a>
Correct code:
Code Select
<\/i><\/a>

The block pulling the info. from forum posts looked to be missing a </a> or it is putting in two lines for the picture.

If you like, I could make the errors show again so you can have a look at them.

Portal link is in the 1st post of the topic also.

EDIT: I enabled the HighSlide viewer again. It is tossing the
Code Select
</i></a> errors now.

I have validate you frontpage and I see only the errors in the "Nav Bar" .. missing alt for images.

What you wrote is a part in the LoadData.php and this part is absolutly correct javascript code.
Output from validator:
Code Select
# <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"><!-- // --><![CDATA[
# hs.graphicsDir = "http://kb0049/portamx.com/Themes/default/highslide/graphics/";
# hs.captionText = "<a href='http://highslide.com/'>Powered by <i>Highslide JS</i></a>, implemented by PortaMx corp.";
# hs.outlineType = "glossy-dark";
# hs.blockRightClick = true;
# hs.fadeInOut = true;
# hs.dimmingOpacity = 0.3;
# hs.showCredits = false;
# hs.expandSteps = 0;
# hs.restoreSteps = 0;
# hs.transitions = ["expand", "crossfade"];
# hs.enableKeyListener = false;
# hs.zIndexCounter = 10001;
# hs.registerOverlay({
# overlayId: "closebutton",
# position: "top right",
# fade: 2,
# useOnHtml: true
# });
# // ]]></script>

Fel

I am using the one antechinus said to use in his post above. I will try that one you posted also.

EDIT: Tryed the one you posted too. That one does only give out the missing alt for images errors like you said. So we are at a cross roads here I guess.

Now I am not sure which one to go by.  :(

The link I have posted is the official validator ..
I think the tool that you use can't differentiate between single and double quotes in javascript.
Normaly the charsequenz "\/" is a escape for "/", but that is not need here.

That tool has several algorithms available. The one you want for emulating the W3 validator is the SGML Parser. You set it under Options, which you access by right clicking the icon on your status bar to bring up the menu.
