Attentione
PortaMx don't work with the RC2 !

We must make a lot of changes specially the upshrink routines are completely new.

We release a version for RC2 when it's done.

Yes, most mods and all themes need to be re-written!
but we have known that this was coming for ages now.

Quite a lot of Porta will work on RC2 but yes, anything involving js is likely to be buggy.

It's rude, there's no excuse for it, and anyone who does it should be ashamed of themselves.

All the upshrinks don't work, also the bbc_editor I must fix.
That I have done .. but a lot of other mistakes I must redesign  >:(

But I think, I can develope PortaMx and PmxBlog for RC2 at the end of this week ...

Yes all the javascript was shunted around and some of the arguments for the editor were changed. I've already updated my two mods for RC2, but of course they are a lot less work than something like Porta.

I have updated 1 of my older live sites to RC2, and I had a theme installed called flagrant. It seems to be working fine! No error messages so far and does not look screwed or anything dramtic. Can that be? It relies mainly on the default theme so perhaps that's why ?

RC2 includes a compatibility stylesheet which will help with some problems on older themes. I suppose the closer a theme is to the old Core the better the compat sheet will work, since it was designed to correct the pre-RC2 Core theme.

The new rounded corner theme seems to be the new default style when smf 2 rc2 is freshly installed.  Might be wise to consider that when up dating portamx?

I imagine Fel will allow an option for the new h3 catbg and h4 titlebg classes with their associated spans in the admin option for styling the headers of blocks. I don't think that would be difficult to arrange.

i think there is no chance to rest because i´m sure feline will have a ready system when smf2 gold comes out. as you see here on site pmx vers. 0.962 is running.

and we all do help thru install pmx and test and report. in this way pmx is ready when smf2 is ready.

so who know if there may come out more smf rc versions so the work on pmx has to be continuously

Just I have make the latest changes on PortaMx for SMF RC2 and Curve theme  ;)

I have all templates redesigned to work perfect with the new Curve theme and the old "Core" theme.
Because I have no other RC2 Curve compatible theme, I can't more test as the both from SMF.
And I found a lot of smaller bugs in the compatibility css classes (missing, bad etc), but I have compensated that in my own style classes.

Later at the evenig I will post a lot of images.
I think, that I can develope a first release at the start of next week.

Looking good there, Fel.  O0

I've been playing with Curve myself, just doing a few simple variants with image and css changes. I rather like dark themes so I did some dark ones first. The blue one needs a bit more work but the black and bronze one rocks IMO.

Thanks. SMF Charter Members can now download the second one and the PSD files for it from this topic at SMF:

Customise your copy of Curve: nifty new variations for ya.  O0

Other variants will be forthcoming from myself and other SMF team members. I should have the blue one done soon.

Cool. I like it. That one started out as another idea but just came together that way. Now I'm stumped for better ideas. I'll think of something eventually.
