We are near to develop PortaMx 1.0 RC4...
List of changes (#), fixes ($) and news (+) :# - recent topics, new posts, cbt-navigator now points to the correct message. The subject is always linked to the
last message, if a unread message exists, the NEW icon is linked to the first unread message. On the cbt-navigator the link points to the last message and if a unread message exist (red dot) the link points to the first unread message.
$ - no blocks are shown on overview, if you use the PortaMx access setting and select the Administrator.
$ - PortaMx access rights not handle the Administraor correct.
# - all access rights redesigned for faster processing.
+ - on uninstall you have now the option to remove the database tables (works only after a fresh install of 1,0 RC4).
+ - added a option to the new post, board news, multiple board news and rss block to set the columns in a row to the same hight if you use a 2 column display.
+ - the access setings on the overview screens (blocks, category, article Manager) now have three options:
Update,
add or
remove groups. This is helpfully, if you created or deleted a groups in SMF. These can now simple add to all blocks in a panels, all categories or articles.
+ - now you can
move or
clone html, script, bbc or php block to the article manager.
+ - if the SEF engine not works, you can these globaly disable with a string in the Settings.php. Simple put the string
$pmxsef_disabled = 1; in the Settings.php.
+ - you can use all exist languages for the Portal, the SMF languages AND PortaMx languages. If you have as example english for SMF and additional german for the Portal installed then you can use both for all the blocks, categories and articles.
$ - language selector in the user block don't work correct also not the theme selector (redirect ends in a error).
+ - now we can convert HTML to BBC and BBC to HTML without lost any design (we add bbc token for divisions, spans and mutch more. Also aligned and/or sized images are converted correct.
$ - the teaser don't worked correct if you have quotes or codes in the message.
Finally a hint what you can do if the install fails and you can't access the forum:
Step 1: rename the index.php and copy a original from a install archive to your server.
Step 2: look if the file /Sources/PortaMx/PortaMxLoader.php exist and rename this. Do nothing if not exist.
Whoopiii .. the forum now runs

Now you can check what's wrong:
1.. check if all files and folder exist (compare with the archive)
2.. check the access rights for the folder / files (normaly 755 / 644)
3. try a uninstall CHECK, if this fails, not all changes are correct applied to the SMF files.
Now you can fix all these things.
