I think a good theme site for downloading on here would be a good idea  O0

With all good sites like this, there should be a good theme download area, hint and put portamx theme on it too  ;)

Cheers Guys

Fel doesn't want to put the PMx theme on it. She wants to keep that one for herself. ;)
Using Internet Explorer 6 on the internet is like urinating in a public swimming pool.
It's rude, there's no excuse for it, and anyone who does it should be ashamed of themselves.

Where can I find all themes for SMF 2.0 RC2 that currently work with
PortaMX  0.970 RC1 ?

Are these only the themes listed here in the Themes selector box or
could I use any theme designed for SMF 2.x ?

Is there any info how to change the colors on the default Curve Theme,
so it is like the default theme, but just with other colors ?

Has anyone done this already and posted this somewhere ?

Many thanks.

PortaMx 0.970 works with ALL themes, they designed for SMF 2 RC2.
Currently available Themes you find here: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=341233.0

You can use only themes, which are ready for RC2 ..

All css files you find in the folder /Themes/default/css
Most css classes are defined in the index.css, but .. many styles have images (titlebg, catbg and mutch more).
All the theme images you find in the folder /Themes/default/images/theme/, the common images for titlebg, catbg ... are stored in the file main_block.png

Thanks Fel,
then I will first modiy just the titlebg, catbg file to a different color and reupload them
and then change the colors in the CSS files.

I want to have a forum with different colors , but with the original
names of the original CURCE default theme.

In my view then it is much easier to install MODs, which are dependent
on themes and are only made for the standard theme.

P.S: Where can I change the width of the background borders left and right to the block in the CURVE theme ?
I don´t want to have any borders at the left and right side.

Is this the same again as in the RC1 version or did they change it too ?

Many thanks.

Hmm, I think this does not work anymore:

https://www.portamx.com/english-support/removing-borders-in-the-default-theme/msg2403/#msg2403

I don´t find any mainframe anymore in the index.css file...

Where did they move it to ?

Many thanks.

Okay, I found it inside the index.css you must change the
padding parameters for the top and the side boarders here:

Code Select
/* Set a fontsize that will look the same in all browsers. */
body
{
background: #E9EEF2 url(../images/theme/backdrop.png) repeat-x;
font: 78%/130% verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 2px 2px;

I set it already to 2 pixels each in this example

before it was 15 px and 5 %,
which is waste of space in my opinion...

index.css -->  #content_section and #content_section div.frame

Try to install FF3 and the Firebug addon .. that helps for this  ::)

Hello,

Sorry to revive an old topic. I understand that PortaMx site wants to keep the PortaMx theme private. But may I request something? I just want the part ot the PortaMx theme that designs quotes and codes.

QuoteSample quote

Code Select
Sample code

This is what I mean. Is it possible?  :)

Yes, need to edit index.css for it. I found out that there is a new mod named XQuote XCode about this. I will customize the mod and get what I need.
